Abstract: | The magnetic field dependence of the longitudinal nuclear-spin relaxation time for 31P nuclei in paramagnetic GdP is expressed in terms of a wavevector frequency-dependent relaxation-shape function. A Gaussian representation of the memory function associated with the spin-velocity relaxation function is chosen that satisfies the first six frequency moments. The results are compared with the experimental data of Myers and Narath. |
