Effect of localization on the hall conductivity in the two-dimensional system in strong magnetic fields

Abstract:	Some exact properties of the Hall conductivity in the two-dimensional electron system in strong magnetic fields are investigated in the presence of immobile carriers. It is shown that σ_xy should be exactly the integral multiple of — $e^{2} h$ when the Fermi energy lies in the localized regime.
