| Abstract: | Glycerol is employed successfully as a green solvent and hydrogen donor in catalytic transfer hydrogenation-dehydrogenation reactions. The glycerol donates hydrogen to various unsaturated organic compounds under mild reaction conditions and as a solvent, allows easy separation of products and catalyst recycling. |
