Abstract: | Infrared laser have been widely used as an excitation source to stimulate infrared fluorescence for various molecules (1–8). The process of stimulation is not clearly understood but is felt to depend on the high power density and the coherent nature of the radiation from the laser amongst other parameters. In recent years, the laser has been used increasingly for air pollution monitoring (9–11). |
