Abstract: | The luminescence properties, energy transfer processes and energy levels of solid state Sm3+complexes with salicylic acid (SAL) and dibenzoylmethide (DBM) are studied by using photoacoustic (PA) spectroscopy at room temperature. The different energy transfer paths and the efficiency of intramolecular energy transfer between the ligands and the central ion are discussed according to Dexter's theory. |
