| Abstract: | The kinetics of formation of the excited states of the atomic krypton ion is studied in pure krypton at a low pressure. The excited states are formed due to the dissociation of excited molecular ions desorbed from a solid surface by an electron beam. The lifetimes of these ions and their dissociation channels are determined. |
