| Abstract: | To study and determine the acute toxicity of sodium fluoride on mice,mice were given sodium fluoride via gastric tube gavage through as one-time administration at doses of 35.00,55.56,88.18,139.97,222.18,352.67,559.79 mg/kg respectively.Mice were observed for 7 days after sodium fluoride.The median lethal does of oral sodium fluoride(LD50)and 95% confidence interval were calculated.The results showed that all mice in each dose group present different levels of seizures,respiratory symptoms and tachycardia.T... |
