Photosynthesis of a cyanocomplex containing molybdenum(IV) and molybdenum(VI): Photosynthesis of K₆[Mo₂Mo(CN)₈O₆]2H₂O

Abstract:	A photochemical method for the preparation of K₆Mo₆Mo₂^IVMo^IV(CN)₈O₆]2H₂O is discussed. The synthesis of this complex was achieved by photolysing aqueous solutions of K₄Mo(CN)₈ in contact with atmospheric oxygen.
