| Abstract: | The potential of an atmospheric-pressure microarc as a primary emission source for multi-element determinations is described. Emission from Na, Li, K, In, Cd, Sn, Ba, W, and Cu was observed. Several of these elements were detected in subnanogram quantities. The feasibility of using a microarc as a detector for the gas chromatography of an organotin compound is demonstrated. |
