Enantioselective hydrogenation of ethyl acetoacetate on copper-nickel catalysts and effect of catalyst preparation conditions

Abstract:Conclusions Enantioselective hydrogenation of ethyl acetoacetate was carried out for the first time on unsupported 1ratio1 Cu-Ni catalysts obtained by precipitation. The highest optical yield (50%) was obtained with a catalyst obtained by reduction of oxides at 250°C in a 1ratio10 H2ratioN2 atmosphere.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No, 11, pp. 2443–2444, November, 1984.
