Wavefront Match Simulation on Receiver Surfaces in Coherent Lidar |

Abstract: | The wavef ront-shape-match between the received signal and the local oscillator in heterodyne lidars affect system's heterodyne efficiency. The heterodyne efficiency decrement due to wavefront matches, including phase, amplitude and propagation direction, is calculated. It is shown that the wavefront of Gaussian and Airy pattern is desired in coherent lidar. |
