Biogeochemistry, a valuable tool in mineral exploration and environmental assessment

Biogeochemistry enables us to assess the quality of an environment by determining whether the trace elements in that environment are normal or anomalous. Moreover, a biogeochemical study can be undertaken without harming that environment and, at the same time, may lead to the discovery of ore bodies.
