| Abstract: | A compressible nuclear waste disposal contamination in porous media is modelled'by a coupled system of partial differential equations. The pressure and the fluid velocity will be approximated by a mixed finite element, while the brine radionuclideand heat by a difference method based on the use of a modified method of characteristic procedure. The optimal error estimate is given with no restriction on the diffusion tensor. |
