| Abstract: | Based on 13C-NMR. and other physico-chemical evidence, the structure of 11α, 11′α-dihydroxychaetocin ( 3 ) has been assigned to a new antibacterial and antimitotic metabolite, isolated from the fungus Verticillium tenerum. |
