Abstract:This paper demonstrates three vibrational spectroscopic techniques andtheir applications in characterization of spatially heterogamous materials, namely step-scan phase modulation FTIR photoacoustic spectroscopy (S2φMPAS), visible (confocal) Raman microscopy (CRM) and FT-IR imaging. In addition, the applications of Raman spectroscopy in nanomaterials studies are also briefly discussed.……
