硅酸铋晶体内电光、磁光相互作用的耦合波分析及其传感应用

摘    要:通过建立并求解硅酸铋(BSO)晶体内电光、磁光相互作用的耦合波方程,得到了BSO晶体的偏振传递函数,由此分析了BSO晶体内偏振光的周期性变化规律,并给出直接描述外加电场、磁场对偏振光作用的琼斯矩阵和米勒矩阵.最后设计了一种基于BSO晶体的电压、电流同时传感系统.

Abstract:The state of polarization in bismuth silicate(BSO)crystal under simultaneously applied electric and magnetic fields and its application to sensors are theoretically analyzed.By solving the coupled wave equation of the electro optic and magnetooptic interaction in BSO crystal,we can obtain the polarization transfer function of BSO crystal,and its Jones and Mueller matrices which are functions of the applied electric and magnetic fields.Based on the polarization transfer behavior of the polarized light in BSO crystal,an optical system for the simultaneous measurement of voltage and current is designed.
