| Abstract: | Benzothiazole-2-thione reacted with C,N-disubstituted nitrilimines to give the corresponding bis-[2-(1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-ylideneamino)phenyl] disulfides. In some cases,  -(1,3-benzothiazol-2-ylsulfanyl)-(-R)-alkanone arylhydrazones were formed as by-products. The structure of the isolated compounds was proved by X-ray analysis. |
