Abstract: | Results of a numerical solution of the boundary-value problem of radiative-conductive heat transfer in a flat layer of a selectively absorbing and radiating medium are presented. The effect of the optical properties of the medium and the walls, the temperature of the source of radiation, and the relationship between the absorption spectra of the medium and the source of radiation on temperature distribution is studied.
