Theory of superfluorescence beats |

| Abstract: | A theory of superfluorescence beats is developed which takes into account both quantum fluctuations and a finite sample size. Analytic results for the radiated intensity in the linear regime are presented. The intensity carries a modulation at the beat frequency. |
