Pyrylocyanines. 31. Benzopyrylocarbocyanines with bridged groupings in the chromophore

4,4-Tetramethylene- and 4,4-pentamethylenebisflavylium salts and their sulfur- and selenium-containing analogs were synthesized. Trimethinecyanine dyes with ethylene and trimethylene bridged groupings in the chromophore were obtained from these salts.
