On Du Wei-ming's Research Method about Traditional Confucian Thought

With the rise of research into Confucianism in recent twenty years, the research into traditional Confucian thought has made great achievements. The problem of research method has gained gradual importance. This article analyses Mr. Du Wei-ming's research thinking about traditional Confucian thought, draws the basic structure of its research method. As "internal participant", this structure can penetrate into philosopher's spiritual field, profoundly understand and see its thought; as "external spectator", it can deeply evaluate and criticize the thought in the background of world culture.
