| Abstract: | The first effective method for catalytic enantioselective insertions into O-H bonds has been developed. Specifically, a copper/bisazaferrocene catalyst couples alcohols such as 2-trimethylsilylethanol with alpha-aryl-alpha-diazo esters in high yield and good ee. |
