Abstract: | C-terminal dimerization of a tripeptide palindrome afforded fibrillation in solution through an assembly probably driven by hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic contributions; such an approach provides an expeditious entry into fabrication of fibrillating peptides from non-fibrillating peptide sequences. |
