Excitation of He atoms in the strong-field tunneling regime |

| Abstract: | We report on strong-field excitation of He atoms with two interfering laser pulses of various polarization. The results are explained within the frustrated tunneling ionization model which describes multi-photon excitation in the strong-field tunneling regime. |
