Abstract:A novel zinc(II) 4-(5H-tetrazol)benzoic coordination polymer with an in situ generated tetrazole ligand exhibits the gsi (gamma-silicon) topology and high thermal stability; this compound possesses second-order nonlinear optical and interesting heat-induced photoluminescent properties.
