Abstract: | In this paper, Liapunov-Schmidt reduction and singularity theory are employed to discuss Hopf and degenerate Hopf bifurcations in global parametric region in a three-dimensional system x=–+y, y=–x–y(1–kz), =[(1–z)–ky2].
