Abstract:[structure: see text] The photovoltaic cell composed of both fullerene nanoclusters and 9-mesityl-10-carboxymethylacridinium ion exhibits significant enhancement in the photoelectrochemical performance as well as broader photoresponse in the visible and near-infrared regions as compared with the reference system containing only each component.
