| Abstract: | The functional Fokker-Planck equation is used to obtain the phenomenological radiative transfer theory in the form of the modified Ambarzumian-Chandrasekhar equation which takes into account the backscattering enhancement effect from the 3D slab of a randomly inhomogeneous medium. |
