| Abstract: | Two new benzoquinone derivatives, bungeiquinone (1) and dihydrobungeiquinone (2), and two known derivatives, 3-hydroxyirisquinone (3) and 3-hydroxydihydroirisquinone (4), were isolated from the roots of Iris bungei. The structures of the new compounds were established on the basis of spectroscopic methods. |
