| Abstract: | A new series of substituted pryrrolobenzimidazoles have been prepared via regioselective displacement of chlorine atom from dichloropyrrolobenzimidazoles with various amine nucleophiles. The dichloro compounds were obtained from the reaction of ortho phenylene diamine compounds with dichloromaleic anhydride. |
