| Abstract: | An alternative projector technique approach to the Bonifacio-Schwendimann-Haake model of superradiance is presented. A bilinear master equation for the probability distributions of photon number and atomic excitation is derived. In the case of very large numbers of atoms we end up with a generalized Fokker-Planck equation for atoms. |
