| Abstract: | It was found that methallyldimethylaluminium(A)adds to 5-decyne in the presence of zirconium complex(Cp_2ZrCl_2).Treatment of the initially formed intermediate with an acid gives pentadiene derivative(1).The reaction is highly stereoselective and proceeds exclusively by syn-addition.Methallylzinc chloride(B)adds to 6-iodo-1-hexyne without the presence of any kindsof transition metal complexes.Some new monocyclic and bicyclic compounds(2,3,4)weresynthesized via allylzincation. |
