Global exponential stability of periodic solutions in a nonsmooth model of hematopoiesis with time‐varying delays

Abstract:In this paper, we study a model of hematopoiesis with time‐varying delays and discontinuous harvesting, which is described by a nonsmooth dynamical system. Based on a newly developed method, nonsmooth analysis, and the generalized Lyapunov method, some new delay‐dependent criteria are established to ensure the existence and global exponential stability of positive periodic solutions. Moreover, an example with numerical simulations is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of theoretical results. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
