| Abstract: | Chemisorption of C2H2 on W(110) has been studied by high resolution electron energy low spectroscopy. At low coverages the molecule dissociates, while at thigh coverage C2H2 is di-σ adsorbed with a CC bond order of 0.25 and a CH bond angle of. ≈ 103°. |
