| Abstract: | Absorptions which appear near 1600 cm?1 on co-deposition at 14 K of Ar:CO2 mixtures with an alkali metal have been assigned to ν3 of an M+...CO2? ion pair, with an OCO valence angle near 130°. Molecular aggregates contribute significantly to the observed spectrum. |
