| Abstract: | The nonadiabatic corrections to the vibrational levels of H2 and D2 are evaluated for the X1∑+g state by taking into account the coupling with the E, F1∑+g electronic state. The computed corrections diminish the existing discrepancy between the experimental and theoretical vibrational quanta by about 20%. |
