Abstract:
The dielectric constants of three room-temperature nematic mixtures suited for dynamic scattering displays are reported. The asymmetrically substituted azoxybenzenes involved exist as two isomers. One isomer has a positive dielectric anisotropy (Δ = - ?⊥ > 0), the other a negative one.
