| Abstract: | Kinetics of methane interaction with acetylene on Ziegler-Natta type organonickel catalysts has been studied. The reaction is first order with respect to methane. The kinetic isotope effect amounts to KCH4/KCD4=1.5 and KC2H2,CH4,H2/KC2D2,CD4,D2=2.0.
