Abstract: | A new organic-inorganic hybrid membrane was synthesized in which organic moieties presented a self-assembly of anionic and cationic complexing sites covalently bonded to a siloxane network. The effects of sol–gel parameters (hydrolysis ratio, catalyst and temperature) on the self-organization of the organic functions were studied. Transport experiments underlined the results of such ordering on the improvement of the solute permeability. |
