| Abstract: | The kinetic behavior of deuteriation of 2-chloro-, 3-chloro- and 4-chlorobenzoic acids in the presence of homogeneous platinum salt catalyst in a medium containing solution of deuteriated acetic acid in heavy water has been studied at 130°C. The quasiunimolecular H/D exchange rate constants for particular position of aromatic ring hydrogens were determined by1H NMR integration signal. |
