Abstract: | The quantum solitary wave solutions ina one-dimensional ferromagnetic chain is investigated by using theHartree-Fock approach and the multiple-scale method. It is shownthat quantum solitary wave solutions can exist in a ferromagneticsystem with nearest- and next-nearest-neighbor exchangeinteraction, and at the certain value of the first Brillouin zone, the solitary wave solution of the Hartree wave function becomes theintrinsic localized mode. |
