Abstract: | A new approach to producing polymer films with an immobilized bactericidal enzyme, lysozyme, is proposed based on oil-in-water emulsions containing nonionic surfactants and hydrophobic and hydrophilic polymers. The rheological properties, stability, dispersity, and film-forming ability of the emulsions are studied. It is established that lysozyme is present in the films in a nanocrystalline form, which ensures its rapid release into aqueous buffer solutions with retaining its enzymatic activity. |
