| Abstract: | A relatively simple and inexpensive apparatus is described for rapidly initiating spectrophotometrically monitored reactions by adding a reagent to the cuvette without opening the sample chamber of the spectrophotometer. The apparatus allows the recording of initial reaction rate data within 2 sec after initiating the reaction. |
