Abstract:Propagation of flattened Hermite-Gauss beams(FHGBs) around a thin lens was studied by taking them as coherent superimposition of Hermite-Gauss beams of even order.Evolution of FHGB's field distribution, beam spot size and phase curvature along propagating axis was given in detail.
