| Abstract: | A new example of 2+4] cycloaddition of the low‐coordinated diphospha‐analog of butadiene protected with a 2,4‐di‐tert‐butyl‐6‐methylphenyl group has been described. X‐ray structure investigations of monomer 4b and dimer 5a have been reported for the first time. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
