| Abstract: | The speed of boat drawn towards the shore with a rope is discussed in detail.Two methods of solution,one by the differential calculus and the other by the resolution of velocity,are introduced and compared;the third method,starting from the concept of work and energy,is provided and analysed; finally,the fourth method,which is a method of geometry,is described.Lastly,two questions are put forward,which need to be considered carefully. |
