Abstract:Two new carbonyl manganese compounds were obtained by reactions of 2.6-di(biphenylphosphine) pyridine (PNP) with CPMn(CO)3.The structures of the compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and 31P NMR. The results showed that the mixeddonor ligand (PNP) was coordinated to manganese only through the phosphorus atom.
