| Abstract: | This investigation describes that in the presence of 2.5 mol % of (?)-2-exo-morpholinoisobornane-10-thiol (MITH) 1, catalytic asymmetric alkynylation of aldehydes gives enantioenriched propargylic alcohols with good enantioselectivities. |
