| Abstract: | The halogen bonding driven self-assembly of 1,8-diiodoperfluorooctane and N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine induces the formation of a chiral and enantiopure co-crystal wherein the fluorinated chains adopt an unusual gauche arrangement. |
