| Abstract: | The effect of the BCS superconductivity on the cubic to tetragonal structural transition arising from a two-fold degenerate electronic band is investigated within the mean field approximation. The phase diagram of the two transitions is given for a half filled eg-band. Modification of the two transitions when they are close together are also discussed. |
